Wrap & Roll 2006 Newsletter
We are happy to introduce
our newest lymphedema therapist, Brie
Booth.
Brie is a licensed Physical
Therapy Assistant who trained at Cuyahoga Community College. Before joining our
organization and beginning her training in lymphedema therapy, she worked at a
group home with 15 residents, helping them perform activities of daily living as
needed. On a personal note, Brie is 23. She’s learning to play the guitar and
likes to sing in her church band. She enjoys working with people and is looking
forward to meeting you!
We are constantly striving
to provide state of the art treatment to those with lymphedema. The Cleveland
Lymphedema Clinic staff continues to pursue new and more effective approaches to
manage our patients.
Win Pallante
and Erika Wade,
Lymphedema Therapists, will be going to Germany this spring! They will be
attending both a one-week advanced course and the International Lymphology
Meeting, which will feature presentations by leading European physicians. The
advanced course will focus on treatment of the trunk and head and neck edema.
The Foeldi Clinic, where the course is offered, has been a pioneer in lymphedema
treatment and is a world leader in lymphedema treatment and the training of
lymphedema therapists.
Be sure to attend our June
meeting to hear about their trips and classes.
Newsletter will not be published again until 2007, so mark your calendars for
this year.
